BMS-CB-LFP
Cell Balancing Module designed for GBS LiFePO4 cells 40Ah, 60Ah, 100Ah. No Monitoring.
Also adaptable to larger or smaller cells. M5 bolt holes.
NOTE: NEW V2 units start shunt balancing at 3.50V
This small device allows LFP battery packs to self balance. Small differences in internal resistance between cells causes LFP batteries to become unbalanced over time. During charging this device will allow the first cell to reach full charge to stay there without overcharge while the other cells catch up. It performs the balancing function but not any monitoring function.
Features:
- up to 400mA shunt current
- low quiescent current < 300uA (about 4.5 years to drain a 12Ah cell)
- 3.50V (+/- 0.02V) shunt switch on voltage
- Red LED indicates when shunt bypass is active (Led on at 3.7V)
- Dimensions 67 x 10mm
- 5mm holes at 40mm and 57mm centres, modules can be cut for smaller size cells.

NOTE: Suitable for 12V systems. Higher voltages require a full cell level monitoring BMS.
